Posted by Michael Angelo on 6/9/2010 11:45:00 PM Very happy to see you carrying these. The original Canon Batteries have been so difficult to find for the 5D/7D. So much so that demand has increased the price to $80-120.00 online. Now we have a chance to order these from a phenomenal company with a phenomenal price.
Thanks LACOLOR!!

Replied by LA Color Pros Thank you for your support Michael!
Posted by Stefan on 6/12/2010 4:59:00 AM Sounds great !
Does this battery work as well with the Magic Lantern hack for the 5D M2 ?

Replied by LA Color Pros This fully decoded LP-E6 battery function just like the Canon brand battery. If your stock Canon battery works with the hack, this battery will work too.
Posted by ronny on 6/27/2010 10:30:00 PM Can I charge these batteries using the original battery charger or do i need to order a separate charger?

Replied by LA Color Pros Yes you can charge this battery with your original charger. This battery functions just like the stock Canon battery.
Posted by Martin on 10/12/2010 9:24:00 PM Do you sell a charger that will work with both the original Canon batteries and these fully-decoded batteries?

Replied by LA Color Pros Martin, you can use this charger for the LP-E6 battery

Posted by Jon Chema on 12/27/2010 6:57:00 PM Ordered two of the decoded E-6 batteries and they work great. Even better than the standard Canon batteries....i tend to get about 50 extra shots out of them. Will definitely be ordering some more. Do you guys have an eBay store?

Replied by LA Color Pros Glad you like our fully decoded battery. They function just like the stock Canon batteries but less than half the price.

We do not have a eBay store.
Posted by Andy Asper on 3/7/2011 9:04:00 AM Do you ship to Canada and how much is the shipping charges, also, are there any associated fees. Thanks.

Replied by LA Color Pros Hi we do ship to Canada. You can add items to cart and check out. At the last check out screen, you can select different shipping method and see the cost.
Posted by Armin on 3/20/2011 6:20:00 PM Do you know if this battery will work with a Canon rebel t2i (550d)?? Thanks!

Posted by Ralph on 6/1/2011 3:21:00 AM How long do these batteries last while recording 1080p in video mode? I've never owned a DSLR before and I'm thinking of getting a 60D.
Posted by esteban on 6/19/2011 1:08:00 AM Do you know if canon voids warranty if a third party battery is used?

Replied by LA Color Pros You can use third party batteries with your cameras. It will not void your Canon warranty.
Posted by Kevin on 6/27/2011 9:34:00 AM I ordered several of these recently, and while they work well in the camera, they do not consistently seem to make contact with the Canon charger, making it difficult to charge them. Whereas the Canon batteries immediately begin charging once plugged into the Canon charger, these sometimes start charging, but other times need to be wiggled for several minutes until they make contact. Avoid these if you'll be charging them with a Canon charger at a live event.
Posted by Director Bob on 9/14/2011 10:05:00 PM I've got several of these and buying more. I use the Canon charger and have no problems at all - having shot 5 national spots over the past 3 months I couldn't afford to have batteries that don't work properly. These are great!
Posted by Leonard on 12/20/2011 10:02:00 PM Can the batteries be registered on the camera body like the original LP-E6?

Replied by LA Color Pros This is a fully decoded battery with the info-chip inside. It functions just like the original Canon LP-E6 battery.
Posted by Chris on 4/27/2012 2:49:00 PM Love those batteries... Have 2 of them already and just ordered 2 more... You guys rock!!! Seriously very very happy. Put it into the Grip I got from you, using them with my SMallHD Monitor, they are best and for a fraction of the cost...

Replied by LA Color Pros Chris, glad to hear our batteries work well with your gear. :)
Posted by scott on 6/22/2012 5:39:00 PM The canon LP-E6 are 7.2v, I just received your's in the mail and the battery reads 7.4v, Is this compatable?

Replied by LA Color Pros Scott. No worry. They are compatible.
Posted by Scott on 8/7/2012 7:39:00 PM fantastic batteries, love them have 2 for my battery grip (60D) ordering 2 more, at least.
Thanks

Replied by LA Color Pros Scott! thanks for your order. We will have the package ship out right away :)
Posted by Chip Gallo on 3/8/2013 4:25:00 PM Any idea how long an Ikan VH8 lcd monitor will run on a fully charged Canon LP-E6?

Replied by LA Color Pros Our LPE6 has the same rating as the Canon LPE6. You should check with IKAN to find out the runtime. Thanks.
Posted by Mark Von Lanken on 3/27/2013 3:20:00 PM I bought some cheap eBay knock off batteries but they did not allow me to recharge them after as little as 6 months of use. I bought 2 of theses batteries a year ago. They they still work great. I just bought 4 more!

Replied by LA Color Pros Thank you for ordering more from us. I indeed using these same batteries on my Canon 6D. BTW, I met Steve Moses at InFocus in January. He mentioned you told him about our web site. Thank you.

Posted by Kameron on 6/13/2013 10:37:00 PM Are these compatible with the Canon 6D.
Thanks!

Replied by LA Color Pros YES, They work with Canon 6D very well. Just like the stock Canon battery
Posted by Matt on 10/18/2013 3:49:00 PM Overall, these batteries aren't as good as genuine Canon ones, but are a much better deal. I'd say they get about 60-70% the amount of life as the Canon ones in video mode and cost a third of the price. They also seem to charge much faster and work perfectly with the Canon charger. My order was the standard shipping was shipped really fast too.

Replied by LA Color Pros Hi Matt. Our battery actually has the same rating as the original Canon. That's one of the characteristics of Li-ion batteries. Since they were in our warehouse for quite a while, once you start using it, it will gradually go back to full capacity. Give it a try :)
Posted by Daniel J on 2/6/2014 2:33:00 PM Just receieved 2 of these batteries and charged em right up and registered with the batteries with the cameras! 100% and I'll be out shooting with both the 7D and 5D2.

One thing I will point out right off the bat, some aftermarket batteries do not work with the video function but these batteries do! did a quick 10 minute video came back and my camera was still recording! (better than that offbrand battery that shall remain nameless)

Replied by LA Color Pros Daniel, thank you for your comment. I'm sure it is helpful to many others out there. Some generic brand batteries do not communicate with the camera to send the remaining battery level. Ours is decoded with the smart chip inside to talk to the camera just like the stock Canon battery.
Posted by Benni on 3/5/2014 12:06:00 PM Can you name the manufacturer of these batteries please?

Replied by LA Color Pros Hi Benni, these are generic batteries and the manufacturer is located in China. We are not able to disclose their name. Thanks
Posted by Carol on 11/5/2014 3:44:00 PM I just got the new Canon 7D Mark II - are these batteries the same as the LP-E6N?
Posted by Dennis on 12/7/2014 1:15:00 PM Is it safe to run one of each the LP-E6 and the LP-E6N in the battery grip? (BG-E16)

(one E6 and one E6N in parallel)?

Replied by LA Color Pros Dennis, yes it is safe to do that. In fact our LP-E6N is actually 100% compatible to Canon LP-E6. We added an N to the model to differentiate to other generic LP-E6 that doesn't include the info-chip inside.
