TDK BluRay Blank Media

Posted on 7/20/2010 11:29:00 AM

In search of a better blank BD for our High-Def projects, we are now using TDK blank BluRay inkjet printable disk.

We used to use Verbatim blank BD before in delivering our HD products. The result is great in both printing surface and data recording/playback capability. However, they are not hub printable leaving you less surface area for design purpose. The brand "Verbatim BD" is also printed on the inside hub. That makes your own branding less visible.

We are now using the TDK blanks.

TDK Blu-ray Disc - 25 x BD-R - 25 GB 4x - white - ink jet printable surface printable inner hub - storage media

This medium provides the same high quality BD output. The white surface is great but they are not watershield glassy as in the Taiyo Yuden/JVC Watershield Glossy DVD. Hopefully JVC will give us that soon.
