We have been advocating using Digital Voice Recorder to mic the speakers to get optimal sound. The followings are the digital voice recorders we have used before.
 
   Olympus DM-420 is the current one we are using.
   Zoom H1 is too big to be carried around by groom.
   iRiver is actually an MP3 player but it is highly portable. It is convenience to have 4GB memory built-in and battery built-in
   Olympus WS-200S records in WMV only with a 0.06% audio drift.

I still use the iRiver units. Work great too.

are You guys still using Olympus DM-420?
or have You moved to a different Digital Audio Recorder?
